Programme overview

Delivered in English on our Paris campus, the Bachelor Applied Management and Economics is a three-year programme that prepares students for management roles in an international environment.

Structured around management, economics and business strategy, it embeds sustainability as a cross-cutting lens. Each year consolidates a demanding academic foundation and tests it against real-world practice, through business cases, concrete projects and mandatory internships.

Delivered in partnership with the Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne for French as a foreign language classes, and validated by 180 ECTS credits, this Bachelor is designed for students who wish to build, from the moment they earn their secondary-school diploma, a management career open to the world.

Need help funding your studies ?

EMA enables Year 1 Bachelor applicants to apply for a scholarship reducing Year 1 tuition fees by 20%, based on an exceptional achievement or commitment beyond academic performance.

What types of achievements are eligible?

  • Arts and creative practice
  • Sport and athletic achievement
  • Charity, civic or community engagement
  • Environmental or social impact initiatives
  • Student leadership or association work
  • Entrepreneurship or project leadership
  • Any other exceptional non-academic achievement

How to apply :

  • Be admitted to Year 1 of an EMA undergraduate programme
  • Write a 200-word statement presenting the activity, the level of achievement or commitment, and its impact
  • Submit supporting evidence (portfolio, certificate, ranking, press article, recommendation letter...)

What we assess :

  • Level and consistency of the achievement or commitment, supported by credible evidence
  • Impact generated beyond the applicant
  • Alignment with EMA values

The scholarship applies to Year 1 only and is not renewable in Year 2. The 30% deposit required for the Letter of Acceptance remains payable in full and is not reduced by the scholarship. The scholarship is selective, limited to 20 places per year and is subject to final approval. Submitting an application does not guarantee that a scholarship will be awarded.

Learning objectives

Year 1

In Year 1, you build a strong foundation in business and management, alongside applied mathematics, statistics and accounting. You also strengthen your French language proficiency, while building essential academic, digital and teamwork skills. You also explore key global challenges, including ethical and sustainability issues. Weekly career workshops support your professional development and a compulsory placement provides early workplace experience.

Year 2

In Year 2, you deepen your understanding of core business functions, including human resource management, economics, leadership, marketing, and corporate strategy. You also develop practical skills in project management, business English and data analysis using tools such as Excel. Career workshops, a compulsory placement and an introduction to international relations further strengthen your global perspective.

Year 3

In Year 3, you develop advanced expertise in financial and management accounting, strategic analysis and entrepreneurship. A research methods module prepares you for your final dissertation. You continue to refine your professional communication skills in English, supported by ongoing career development activities to ensure readiness for graduate employment.

Delivered with Cours de civilisation française de la Sorbonne (CCFS), a long-established French-as-a-second-language institution.

Yes. The Bachelor in Applied Management and Economics is open to both domestic and international students.

An intermediate to advanced level of English (equivalent to B2) is required.

Yes. The programme includes 8 weeks of internships in total — 4 weeks in the first year and 4 weeks in the second year — allowing students to gain hands-on professional experience directly related to their field of study.
